Hello there
I have a laptop with win vista.
Problem is winlog and tewblog do the same idiotic pick.
When i try to configure my Techedge wideband port, they only show me four ports com1 com3 com 8 and com9, i try to change the number from the device manager so my USB to Serial Converter from cable techinics is not at com11 but at com8, winlog again chases the other device (which is called standard serial over bluetooth link) ignoring my usb to serial converter (plus some other com ports which are again bluetooth ports) and displays me for pick, only the ones that the program wants.
Is this a regular problem because i didnt find a similar thread from my small search... _________________ The world is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition. |

Hi, this won't help you I'm afraid but I tried to get my 2J1 with USB-serial adaptor to work on a Windows 7 (Vista in dsiguise!) laptop and Winlog couldn't communicate with it. Fortunately my laptop has XP and work fine.
Man, I hate Vista... |
