|
|
Hello,
I'm planing to use Winlog and a 2J1 to log data from motorcycles, and use the data to write A/F maps for my Power Commanders.
Pertinent data logged will be A/F, RPM and TPS connected to a small laptop in a nap sack.
It seems that I'll need to hack into the wire harness on the bikes to get sensor data from TPS and RPM, and of course use the O2 sensor for A/F. Build a connector, etc.
What I'd RATHER do, is connect the USB cable from the Power Commander to the computer, and somehow get the TPS and RPM data from it. I know that this data is sent in real time from the PCIII into the Power Commander software.
Is there an application or utility that can grab those data streams and port ithem into Winlog to be logged?
I also plan to use this set-up with a Triumph bike running the TuneBoy mapping software. Same question there- any way to grab the data real-time coming from the ECU into the TuneBoy software, and port it into Winlog?

i tried doing this also on a dragbike but i ended up buying the 3b1 as it was a much better option as it has built in logging and loads of inputs i just wish it had known this before i purchased the 2j1

Just as an suggestion: You can also use megalogviewer to view your datalogs.
