I'm having similiar issue with 2y0 and winlog 1.02. It connects okay, cannot load log from ecu and rpm shows half speed and no curve from lambda.
I'm not sure did this false reading thingy occurred after replacing hin202 to max232. Tewblog used to mess everything up at connect. I don't know what happens now after chip replace.

-Ibm t20 hardware serial port
-Winxp (with everything updated)
-Selected 4 sparks per engine revolution. Should this be 2 ?

Hi, 'fraid I'm not sure about the other problems but (assuming your engine has four cylinders) yes you should set the sparks to 2. A four-cylinder engine sparks TWICE per revolution! Smile

About your other problems, have you setup all the device and log configurations, etc?
