I just got my 3A2 back after a warranty return and it seems like this one has many of the same problems as my previous one. The main thing I am currently concerned with is that it erases my logged data if I turn the power off to the unit. Yes, I stop logging before I shut the power off, I have tried the serial cable and a USB cable with the same rersults. I have not tried to reflash but I would rather not do that unless I have to, my last one got way worse when I tried to reflash, which it eventually stopped letting me do, even a rescue reflash. Any advice would be most helpful. I unhooked everything but the 17025 sensor, just in case there was something wrong with my connections that was causing the irregularity but it did not help. Almost 5 months and still no worky Crying or Very sad .

Is it possible to hook wire something to the inputs incorrectly that would cause this or something else? i find it unlikely that I happened to get 2 unit that both have the same problem when no one else is having the problem. Has anyone else had this problem, of the unit erasing files when the power is cut to it. Again, I stop logging before cutting power, I can download a file, not erase it, cut power to the unit, turn the power back and try to download the same file but it is just blank. I don't think I had anything wired incorrectly, but I really want to know why I keep having this problem.

Alright, thanks to devojet, my lost data problem has been solved!!!! Apparently when Winlog prompts to download when it first starts, if you say yes it will download a blank file but if you say no and download manually (click the button) it will work correctly. Strange that it doesn't work automatically but as long as I can get it to work, that is all that matters!

You've come to find out this information from a source I know to be shared.
