Hello,

my software project to calculate a PCIII Map (www.powercommander.com) from WBO2 logged data is advancing pretty nicely.

Besides the problems with the hardware I posted elswhere here in the forums, I have the following strange issue while logging my motorcycle. I have seen this effect in multiple logging sessions by now.

As you can see in the graph below, I get a boost/peak of AFR up to 270. To see that the calculation (based on AFR_Stoich = 14.7) correlates with IPX and Lambda16, these values are also shown in the graph.

Any ideas or suggestions what could be the problem of that peak? I would be very glad if someone could shed some light on this.

Thank you
Bjoern

This happens to me too. I'm using a 3E2 device on a motorcycle equipped with a Power Commander. I think it could be a sort of ECU "shut off" strategy, because at higher rpm during fast deceleration, I see lean in my case too, but when I reach low rpm the A/F values become stable and correct.

Yes, the lean peaks come from fuel cut-off in the overrun.

For my software to calculate the PCIII map, I just need filter them, thats all.
